Oh Gawd! I missed the BBC Remembrance thingy last night - first time in years - it means so much to me - and no energy to venture out this morning to remember .............. I do remember though, daily, Dad will forgive me I'm sure.

I've been off work for a few days, and go back tomorrow - yuck - don't know if I can cope with it and may have to pack it in, but, I'll try and try again. Never mind, that's me, I hope you all have a relaxing Sunday before you go back on to the treadmill.

I regret missing the remembrance service / festival, and K.J. sang last year, I agree, she is something else.
It always brings a tear to my eye to see this fantastic festival, devoid of destructive muslims, and celebrating the sacrifices made for our union flag.

well I'm a bit nervous! a girl from my primary school contacted me through Friends Reunited a couple of weeks ago and we've arranged to meet this afternoon. I've not seen her since we were 11, we were never close friends.. in fact, I didn't really know her, she seems desperate to meet (just divorced and back at her parents' house) and I'm scared! she says, "we have so much catching up to do"..well, it'll be like meeting a stranger!! we don't have old memories to share and she sounds so sensible in her emails.. "kind regards"!

oh, I'm sure it will be great really :o/

Hi sara, ooh I would be nervous too. I made contact through friends reunited with a girl I hadn't seen for 22 years, and don't know whether I want to meet up again. Might have nothing in common any more and she nows looks sensible and mumsy. She was a right laugh when we were kids. You will have to let us know

I will, TT! I wouldn't mind if she was more casual about it, but she seems desperate, and I really don't want to take on lots of her problems. she kept asking for my mobile number (which I didn't want to give) and last night I caved and gave her.. my work mobile number! it's hardly ever on unless I need it. I feel so mean!

update later.. we're meeting at 2pm.

it's worse than an internet date! at least if you don't want to see them again it's okay to just say it!
