Why would you want to go through
the pain barrier to have that done !!
Tattoos are for life ..but it's your body
and money ..
My mum (77!!) has had hers done by a reputable beautician locally to me (in Hertfordshire I'm afraid).

They look great and it cost her 350. She has them done twice to build up a natural colour and get it right.

They look really good but it was quite painful. She was given a numbing cream to apply an hour before she had it done.

Hope this helps. Sal.
Hi,
I have had semi permanent eyebrows done. They are absolutely fabulous. May I also add that this is NOT tatooing ! It it a semi permanent treatment only ! they were well worth the money - and I have to disagree with comments here saying the treatment was painful - I felt almost nothing !
I would say though - go to a registered beautician. Like anything do your research first.
I had mine done in in the UK - quite expensive - I now live in Spain - and like most things it costs almost half here !
You do require to have them touched up in the future - but well worth it, they certainly are fantastic for genuine facial injuries, and indeed for people with very sparse eybrows.
I would highly recommend, and plan to have mine touched up again in a couple of months, I guess the length of time they last differs from individual to individual - but as I said mine have lasted 5 years !
If you want further info contact me again and I will forward some more info.
Hope this has helped you.
i knew a girl had this done .she lost all her hair .
cant remeber the name of the reason.
but she had a wig and tattooed eyebrows.
she was 26
and very pretty
ud never have guessed
Doctorfern - maybe my mum is a big wimp!!!!!!!!

God, the noises she made!!
Before you have this done make an appointment with your GP and ask him or her to refer you to a reputable psychiatrist for a full assessment.

Thanks for comment New judge, good name that! dont JUDGE me you prat!!!
tamirra i have seen these and to be honest i think they look like clown makeup and so perfect! why would you want them i am only voicing a opinion, when i pass someone thats had them done you can tell they are tattoos they dont sit right! as i said only a opinion if thats what you wish bash on!!!!
New judge - I could be rude but I wont - its not my style ! BUT - WHY bother to make such rediculous comments. Cant you find something useful to do with your life, other than leave unjustified comments to a valid original question !!

Sal - maybe I dont feel pain lol.

As I said in my earlier post - make sure you do your homework, and go to a reputable beautician - where there should be NO problems of them showing close up pictures of other clients - so you can decide yourself, if they have a problem with this - then move on! A couple I have seen - have been more " painted " instead of fine lines to replicate hairs. Done properly you would have to be up extremely close to know they were not " real".

No thats ok puddicat yours isnt a stupid comment like Mr Judge! the ones i want to have done tattoo the hairs individually not as a clump, very natural looking, the reason why i need this done is that i have hardly any brow at all.
Oh Dear! I have ruffled some feathers (or maybe some eyebrows) havent I?

You know what they say, tamirra: if you cant take a joke you shouldnt have joined.

I rarely venture into Body and Soul because many of the questions there are so banal that I often wonder whether they are genuine or not. I strayed into the section in error as your question was in the Recent Posts section and I clicked on the wrong heading.

All sorts of cranks, loonies and eccentrics frequent AB (and I count myself in at least one of those categories) and you must not be surprised if some of them do judge you especially those with a username like mine.

As for Doctorferns denigration of my character, although my answer may not have been exactly what you wanted to hear, it had a serious basis. There is no indication in your question or your subsequent additions that you are considering this for medical reasons. No doubt in this case you would have received proper advice and would have had no need to ask the question here. On the contrary, it seems to be something you are simply thinking of having done.

In that case I stand by original remark. Anybody that sees the need to voluntarily undergo facial disfigurement for reasons of pure vanity should examine their motives carefully. In particular, for you to believe that such adornments can be very natural looking is a bit disturbing.

But take no notice of what I say. You go ahead and have it done. But youll certainly need a better sense of humour afterwards than you seem to have now.

Look Judge take a hike, my body and i do as i please, lets hope that maybe you might some day need something done, just look in the mirror you will probally find quite a bit that would need you to take out a second mortgage for. xxxx
I put this question in a couple of years agohttp://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Q uestion273899.html
There were many rattled cages & sucked lemons:-)
You will indeed do as you please tamirra and I wish you well.

I must offer you my thanks for reconfirming my suspicion that venturing into Body and Soul is fraught with danger. I will indeed now take a hike - to other less facile categories of AB.
A unibrow might look good on you?

I really dont think people know anything about having your eyebrows tattooed on, i cant see the problem with it, its not like im having a picture tattooed onto them!
Hi Tamirra

I work with a lady called Karen Betts who is the permanent makeup technician from Channel 4's 10 Years Younger. Her 3d hairstroke brows are one of her most popular eyebrow tattoo procedures.

If you are genuinly thinking of having a permanent makeup enhancement you need to consider the following:

- why do you want the enhancement?
- don't associate lower price with value for money, this is your face we're talking about!
- use a reputable technician as although some procedures can be corrected it is obviously better to have the right procedure, with the right technician in the first place.

You can view Karens work & see examples of her procedures by visiting www.karenbetts.co.uk or call Cate, her PA, on 0845 644 3994.

Hope everything goes ok for you!

Hi, had my eyebrows done in the 3d hairstroke by a lady called Hina Solanki, I saw her in temple fortune but i think she holds clinics around england. I love my eyebrows, they look so natural. I lost my eyebrows due to an illness. im so please. Its true....you must do you homework. I have seen people with orange brow, pencil thin brows and they look really funny. I found this lady on the internet. www.solcosmedics.co.uk.
She is also really in to her natural skin products. i have bought a few and they smell yummy...
I have to agree with New Judge.
Not just eyebrows, but all bodily mutilations.
The cosmetics industry is just that, an INDUSTRY.
A business designed to make its executives very rich at YOUR EXPENSE.
Be natural and learn to love the body God gave you instead of following a fashion fad.
Accidental damage apart, of course.
Heidi Worman is brilliant at eyebrow tattoo, prices I dont know but she has a very fine reputation, this counts more than anything.
