I started to read 'The Pilot's Wife' by Anita Shreve a while ago but have been busy with work and to be honest slightly lost interest in the book but i hate not finishing them.

I have read 'Light on snow' by Shreve and couldnt put it down, does the book get better towards the end or should i just give up now?

I would recommend reading the Pilot's Wife to the end, the plot unfolds really well. I've read of couple more Anita Shreve and hat was enough for me, though. Have you read anything by Dorothy Allison? She's another good contemporary US writer.

The Pilot's wife is the only book I have read by Anita Shreve, but I really enjoyed it. Totally agree with lyn, you can feel your eyes widen as all is slowly revealed...
