Question Author

Well done.  So when do you start?

2 weeks

Question Author

This is full time isn't it?

Congratulations abbey, I'm pleased for you.

Well done so you can give the laundry 2 weeks notice then

Well done. Your mum will be chuffed

Do I tell my mum I had the trial as she think I been going to the laundry

Of course.

Doesn't she still think you're at tge carehome 5 days a week? Although she must surely have noticed and wondered why you never seemed to work Thursdays and Fridays unless you went out dressed for work and came back late afternoon

Tell your mum the truth, about everything.

Good advice Jo, doubt it will happen though.

True ☚ī¸

Yes been going out dressed for work

Well done on finally getting full-time  work - you must be delighted.  Although I find it strange that, living in the same household, your parents are not aware of your work schedule, you must now be happy to let them know you will be making more money.

But if you only did 3 days in the laundry, how did you explain working 5 days?

Maybe her mother works very long hours, scorpiojo

Maybe, but isn't her dad at home?

I don't know

abbey has said "Yes been going out dressed for work " so she went out for the day on Thursdays and Fridays dressed for work and presumably just mooched about until it was time to come home from 'work'

It's far easier just to be honest with your Mum than go through a performance, abbey. Lies catch up with us in the end
