Good evening!

Just a lowly THREE out of seven in the main quiz for me this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-66453184

Even worse though, I could only manage ONE out of five in the junior quiz :(
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

At least I got a ‘passable’ FIVE out of ten in the speed event:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-66423419

So that’s an appalling aggregate of 9 for me, meaning that just about everyone here is going to beat me easily this week, I reckon!

Your turn, anyway!

Good evening. I hope you've been enjoying the sunshine. Middling for me this week - a not very good 3 for the main quiz,my inner child intact with 5 and a not very good 4 for the timed. Aggregate of 12. Thank you
Good Evening, Chris!
A relatively good week for me this week
4/7, 4/5, 6/10
Been enjoying this lovely sunshine and trying to grapple with the enormous weeds taking over my back garden. Hoping to add a bit more colour before the rain returns here over the weekend.
Wishing you and the terrific trio a wonderful week ahead :-)

Good evening, Sam.

'Middle of the road' maybe but still enough to beat me easily anyway!

I'm feeling fine, thanks, and I hope that you're as fit as a fiddle too!

Why fiddles should be fit anyway though is beyond me ;-)

Hi, Roo!

I've been seeing a little of the sunshine but I seem to have most of my time taken up by indoor jobs at the moment. I spent this afternoon trying to clear enough space in my loft to install a colinear antenna which, I feel sure, will almost certainly leave you none the wiser anyway :-)

Well done on being a perfect kid, beating me easily and taking an early lead in the scores!
Question Author
Roo's lead didn't last very long, I see!

Well done on storming out in front, Karamia!

Don't bother about the weeds. Simply call it a 'wildflower garden' and just let them carry on growing ;-)

The Terrific (Terrible?) Trio are all fine and we hopefully have a lovely week ahead of us. I hope that you'll have a great week too.

Very poor this week

Hi, Patsy.

Well done on beating me easily this week :-)

5/10 v 3/10

Equal amounts of inattention...spending time in the loft with the colinear antenna sounds much more fun than following the so called news,Shady would have enjoyed it, he likes attics and lofts to explore
Hope you and yours are all well :- )
5/7,3/5,6/10. A little bit of sunshine this week, a very large mouse by the hedgehog food at Norman and Magic’s house, and Bailey has just cheered himself up by being allowed a little bit of the human’s sea bass. Psyching myself up after a busy week at work to get up early on Sunday and stand marshalling at the bike element of our club’s triathlon. Hope all is good with you and yours, Puss Puss is failing on his garden manoeuvres to stop one of the other local kitties from sunbathing / sleeping in the shed’s window box.
No problem, Buen :-))
Several lucky guesses later...

Welcome to the Naughty Nine Club, Haras2!

My loft ladder is permanently in place, meaning that the intrepid explorers are free to go up there whenever they want . Tablo sometimes decides to sleep in the loft, whereas Chequers regards it as his place of refuge whenever anyone knocks on my front door. (He heads straight up that ladder like a shot!)

We're all well, thanks. I hope that you and Shady are too and that you'll be able to enjoy some sunshine in the coming week.

Hi, Campbellking!

Well done on taking the joint lead at the moment!

Surely you should be competing in the triathlon, rather than just marshalling a bit of it, shouldn't you?
;-)

I love sea bass and I try (but often fail) to keep it all for myself. Tablo's been demanding cheese from me, every time that I take it out of the fridge, lately. She can be several gardens away but, as soon as I reach for the cheddar, she suddenly appears and miaows like crazy for a bit of it.

I hope that you and your feline friends (including the sleepy intruder) all have a great week.

My pathetic score would have been even lower without several lucky guesses, Lie-in King :-)

Well done on taking the joint lead!

But have they got the last question in the children's quiz wrong, or am I havering?
Question Author
'Havering', Perseverer? That's a London borough, isn't it?
;-)

The last question in the junior quiz asks where the Pokémon World Championship is being held an correctly gives the answer as Japan:
https://worlds.pokemon.com/en-us/

Well done on beating me, anyway!
Last one in children's is the football one? It's the question I think is faulty.
