Been to Florida twice and wouldn’t go back but if that floats your boat bazile. Actually, it was in Florida that I was introduced to margaritas, so it wasn’t all bad.

Never been to the canaries, tell me why you like it, and would you recommend it Douglas?

Actually we are home birds these. Days. Have been now for years. It's where we like to be most with dogs and cats. I can't believe I was once a party animal. Anyway there's nowhere to go round here except pubs and we don't do pubs unless we are eating. Boring arent we!

Well because of the time of year for world weather I'd like to be back in the Maldives. Only been once, in the February before covid started. I can honestly describe it as my paradise on earth. Round about 8.30 at night we'd be walking barefoot along the beach with a torch, avoiding the crabs on our way to eat something delicious from the sand floored restaurant.

I like it because of the heat mostly, Vagus, even the wind is warm.

I also like their Tropical lager and patatas bravas y Canarias. :-)

We’re much the same, MissT. The only place I’d rather be is with one or other of the family, I’ve no desire to do big trips anywhere. My family means a great deal to me.
I do however find it interesting to know where others would rather be tonight.

That sounds lovely prudie. We did something like that in Jamaica a good few years ago, I have photos of us eating at a small table on the beach near the water line, in the dark. Perfect apart from the armed guards patrolling the beach!!
