Didn't know where to put this - food or shopping - so chose chatterbank.

Have any of you bought the magic bags through the Too Good to Waste app? Interested to hear your experiences

What are they??

They are bags of reduced, end of date food sold at greatly reduced prices by supermarkets, food outlets such as Greggs and restaurants such as Toby.
You don't know what's in them and you have to collect them in a certain time point

Lidl sell off boxes of assorted fruit & veg that's past it's best. Usually about £1.50 a box & they contain quite a bit (too much for me to but good for families I woulda thought).

I’ve got as far as downloading the app by my nearest outlet is 4 miles away which defeats the object. If I’m passing I might consider it but I then wonder if I really need £15 worth of stale pastries for £5 from Starbucks at 10pm?

Barry, 2 of my daughters buy these and sometimes they are pleased with what they get and sometimes not. They both own dogs, so I expect what they don't want, they give to the dog!
