morning, Wednesday already, where do the days go. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a good one, do you have anything planned for today?
I have a friend popping over for a coffee and a natter later, so that will be nice.

morning Arrods, how are you ?
Fine thanks Emmie. We’re currently in Malaysia. And have just seen the news about Boaty. We often exchanged comments on our respective times in this country. I only ‘knew’ him for the short time I have been on Answerbank. A lovely and caring man.

i too have only just seen the sad news, he was such a stalwart of the site.

are you on holiday, if so what's it like,
How's Emmie today?
Try for happy answers please.

Hi Arrods.
Yes Emmie. Boaty will know that we visit Malaysia frequently. We arrived on 1 April, the first day that foreigner tourists were allowed into the country. We’re currently in Langkawi for a week before returning to our ‘base’ in KL (my son’s apartment). We’re here until 1 May.
Hi 1ozzy. Hope to pop down to upsidedownland (as Boaty I think used to say) in November when we next visit KL.

morning 1ozzy.
Very close Arrods, "downsideupland" was how Boaty referred to my neck of the woods :-)
Question Author
i am ok, how are you?

thats great Arrods, a place i would love to visit, i have the invite from friends in Australia
With apologies to Eric and Ernie (and Andre Previn) I got most of the letters right but not necessarily in the correct order!
Question Author
its getting light earlier, our forecast is a high of 19c, positively spring like, and mostly sunny skies,
Question Author
we know what you meant Arrods,
It helps if you can stay with friends there. We have stayed with friends in Melbourne and did a bit of adventuring there (well a weekend in Sydney!).
Question Author
my friends have offered over the years, but it's a long old haul and i would have to go for at least a month or more.
Yes Emmie. It’s 13 hours to KL. But once you’re here it’s ‘only’ 8 to Melbourne.
Question Author
one friend lives in Dubbo, the other, her mum lives in Yokine, the other side of Australia, they haven't seen each other for over two years.
It would be great to go, but can't see it happening...
Question Author
still one can dream....
I never dreamed of travelling this far afield but have been lucky to be able to do so in our later years. Lunchtime beckons and so I wish all a lovely day.
