My wrapping up is easy, Bobs, and already done. £50 in each card for the 4 fruits of my loins, and a tenner in each of the cards for the 9 ex-rugrats that those 4 fruits produced :-))
Whoever thinks about buying presents in November, never mind wrapping them ?

Most online DD ,in fact all but some PJs for my friend were done from the comfort of my armchair , I’ve avoided the large centres not that I find much there , ours is bringing in so many designer shops now anyway
I've bought one present.
Well done, Bobbi. I wish I could say the same. Mine are all still piled up in a spare room. I don’t like wrapping - and I have loads to do. :o(

9 ex rugrats ??

If I’m left alone with Alexa playing I can happily sit and wrap away
I’ve only bought a couple, and even those were online. Am stumped as to what to buy youngsmow! 22 hrs old, good job, workaholic, only spare time hobby is the gym and he has everything for that - help!
I now use tissue paper and gift bags. You don't need to be too neat wrapping the presents, or cutting the paper to size. Add some contrasting coloured tissue paper in the gift to make it look interesting. Job done.
They're only rugrats when they're crawling. Bobs. Youngest is at nursery while oldest is 20. Though the money is already in the sealed envelopes, they don't get them until either 24th (if i'm not going to see them on the day) or 25th (if they're having Xmas dinner at mine).
I use bags for some, PD, but I like to wrap the children’s presents just because I know they love opening them!

Great idea PD , thank you
Bought a pair of fluffy bed socks in M&M today, for my sister. Will look for a little something to go with it. It has to be light, as will be sent to Canada and I don't want the package costing more than the presents!

Does anyone do a Christmas Eve box?
I’ve done one for our grandson since he was about 2, I used to put a book,PJs a game, and various bits from the £ shop like sweets etc, I still do one but now it’s designer underwear and socks and smellies, he’d be devastated if he didn’t get Grandmas CE box :0)

I started doing it a few years ago, it used to take me hours to measure and cut the wrapping paper, let alone actually wrap the gifts. It takes less than half the time now. All the presents are individually wrapped and then go in a gift bag. I love wrapping presents, but find it just takes so long. I do love using contrasting colours which match the gift bag. I have also found it is a great way to deal with awkward shaped presents.
I passed a house yesterday that was decorated outside with xmas lights (that were turned on), and they had a xmas tree also with flashing lights on, in the front window, whilst fireworks were still going off nearby. Crazy.

I’d agree that’s too early Winner but in there defence perhaps they’ve had enough gloom over the last 20 months and they feel like brightening their house?
My wrapping tale, Bobbi. To save wasting paper I collect appropriate pages from newspapers and magazines. e.g. The crossword fiend gets his wrapped in crossword pages. The granddaughter gets fashion and make-up pages with pictures. You get the idea.....I do bling them up.

An elderly cycling and fishing mad gent who befriended me got his first Christmas gift from me wrapped in pages to suit his hobbies.
A few weeks later he arrived at my house bearing rolls of Christmas wrapping paper saying...I didn't realise you were so poor you couldn't afford Christmas wrapping paper so this if for you for next year.... :-(
I received a pair of those fluffy M&M socks last year, didn't like the rapping though.
