Good Morning Early Birds

morning all, the weekend is here at last. If you are working today i hope it goes quickly and that you don't work too hard, and those not working enjoy your day.
Do you have any exciting plans for the day? I haven't anything on the cards at the moment, but that can change.

Morning emmie. Hope you are well today. Nothing exciting planned - I am not of that age! If the weather is kind I need to mow the lawn and do some grocery shopping.

morning Choux, actually i am somewhat in the wars, i really should have called the GP yesterday, see if i can get a scan on my legs as the left one is causing all sorts of pain, i rest as much as possible but the pain doesn't go away, damned arthritis, what a nuisance it is. sorry to moan.....

That is not moaning, just telling it as it is. Pain is not easily born, especially when it is constant. We just have to be grateful for the days when it doesn't rule our lives.

i just read Lottie's post, what a terrible thing to happen, the ambulance taking 4 hours to get to her....appalling.

It was an awful thing to happen, emmie. Plus the fact it probably happened at one of the worst times possible - nearly midnight on a Friday. The relief she and OH must have felt at the paramedics arrival. Lottie said she wasn't going to hospital, I hope that it worked out that way for her.

what are you doing up at this hour, were you keeping Lottie company?

personally i would go to hospital, especially in her condition so they can assess what damage was done. But if she refuses then there is nothing they can do but get her off the bathroom floor and place her in a comfortable chair/bed.

I don't sleep very well and I just opened AB to catch the thread. I was happy to chat with her if it helped.

I suspect lottie probably knows what she needs by way of medical intervention and if she had no fractures or concussion she just needed their help to get her into her bed/sofa. Such a shame for her to get that sort of set back though.

i sleep like a log for a few hours then wake, then go back to sleep, then wake, its been like this for months, finally i get up and start the day with this post.

i read all the responses, some made me laugh, i guess that's how they were intended to make her laugh too to take away the pain, or at least to take her mind off her predicament,

My sleep pattern is fragmented, becomes a way of life doesn't it. I will try for some now, I think. Take care, emmie.

Quite so. Her OH looked after her immediate needs but any distraction from the clock would be welcome, I hope ;)

Morning all, hope lofty is ok.
We didn’t get the house we were after so back to square one!
So OH is taking me to the country show today to cheer me up.
It’s called the Balmoral show and is amazing but expensive, we were not going to go but he insists as he knew I really wanted to go.
