Can anyone tell me if there was a band in the mid nineties called jet? I'm sure i can remember them being on a 'shine' compilation album!!! Any help would be much appreciated

Do you mean Warm Jets?

Their single "Hurricane" was released in 1997/8.

Jet are an Australian band from the current decade. They're rather more bluesy-rock than the indie stuff that typically turns up on Shine albums though.
