morning everybody, i hope you are well, and that you have a good day whatever you have planned. i have some deliveries coming today, not sure what time so it might be a case of staying in, which would be a shame as the weather forecast looks like another bright and sunny day - its a little humid for my liking at the moment, hence the early start.
i had a cat for 16 years but he didn't take much looking after really, fed and watered and made a fuss of when he came back in from his roaming. i wouldn't have another as i was heartbroken when he died.
Morning Emmie. I was spark out before 9pm last night and had a solid 8 hours. Why is it that when you sleep well you always feel you need more? My limbs feel heavy and weak too ... I think I'd better get some more Ferrous Sulphate.
Smow, have you tried reading in the evening and then going to bed at the same time everyday? Apparently it takes a couple of weeks to get used to the routine and then you sleep better.
LadyG - I did try it for a while but the prob is that mr smow has such different sleeping habits to me! I like a fan on - he hates it. Even in this weather he has all windows shut and the bedroom is stifling. I end up going in the spare room half the time where there is another lovely pedestal fan. He sleeps 10 hrs solid every night without moving - and snores!
i wake from these horrendous dreams, this time at 3am. not really been back to sleep since then, so by 9am i will be getting tired, its all up in the air.
Sounds stupid but I see having separate rooms as a bit of a failure. I know that’s ridiculous, even tho he’s not the cuddly affectionate type anyway (he wouldn’t know if I was in the bed or not!!) - he bizarrely sleeps on his stomach for 10 hours lol!
Husband and I did it for years, only started sharing again 4 years ago. Both he and I slept so well when apart. We both have such different sleeping patterns he goes to bed late I go early, he gets up late I get up early.
It works now but the separate rooms probably saved our marriage
