Will look into that pixie374 on Monday
You can raise an issue with them, weecalf. Even over the weekend... just go online and explain to them. Good luck x
Any time I get calls like this where they sound convincing, I always say I'll ring them back and ask for their company name.

I hope they can help you get it back. They are usually very good x
I never answer my landline and haven’t for years. I let it go the answer machine but every number clicks off as soon as it starts.
Insurance? Can you give us more details? Have you reported it?

In particular the section "Items not received or a potential fraudulent seller"
> had information on what he should not have known

This works by making enough calls. It's the same basis as the "I understand you've been involved in a car accident" scam. Most people haven't, but some have - and so they think the caller knows that. They don't, they're just making calls until one works.
