Does anyone remember apple slices covered in chocolate in a silver foil bag, similar to the old style crisp packets? I'm going back 50 years and I can't find anyone that remembers it

I know this isn't a UK site, but do you mean this type of thing?

Doesn't sound appetising.
It doesn't does it, I could never understand the allure of toffee apples as a child - I like a wedge of strong cheese with an apple.

Similar sort of thing, Mamya. I liked them but I agree about the toffee apples, I just found them very difficult to eat.
Cadbury stroodles were pieces of apple covered in chocolate - a bit like chocolate raisins

That could very well have been them, Toorak, lthough the name doesn’t ring a bell. Our neighbours worked at Cadbury so it is possible I had seconds in a plain bag
