It doesn't explain how he ended up in hospital when we've been told to stay at home if we show symptoms. Neither does it say what treatment he received. Nevertheless it shows there's hope for some.

I would think he's in hospital because he has cystic fibrosis and would be in a high risk category

Sounds like he emailed his Hospital team that deals with his Cystic Fibrosis and they told him to come in.

Glad he's getting better.
