You can try. I doubt there's any obligation but some may wish to encourage good will.
They may need to be convinced that this isn't a second set of vouchers trying to be used against the same purchase.

well I have the receipts and the cards that say what they are worth.

I have received £150 of them. I'll never use them.

The way I am looking at it. If you buy an item and want a refund then all you do is present your receipt and the item per se.
If it is only the receipt, would it show the information relating to the voucher(s) such as that needed to make sure the voucher(s) had not already been used?

corby - I have both - receipts and the money cards
you could cut your loses and sell them - you wont get as much but youll get something. Or if you have a friend who uses that shop, perhaps they would buy them from you? What shop is it?
They are not vouchers they are cards. Sounds like the money spent will be deducted from the card and updated each time you use it. That means you will not get a refund.

What is the name of the card?
depends on the individual store's rules. You would need to ask the store, often the answer is no.

they are Marks and Spencers
Why would you have the receipt if someone else has bought the vouchers?
what about food? you could always do your shopping in there? Marks' vouchers will be easy to sell i bet

Zacs I just have - the receipts are in the little money pouch ie receipt and card/vouchers (both)
they usually come with a receipt o you know how much is on there
Spend it on food, jj. You'd certainly use that, wouldn't you?
best ask in store jj to see what policy is.
Snap bednobs...you weren't there when I started typing...

I loathe vouchers/money things - right now I do not need food as I have bought so much for Christmas and also do not need clothes either

Look for the third question, you cannot get the money back as cash.
Ok. So why would you spend the receipts and not the vouchers?

‘ If you buy an item and want a refund then all you do is present your receipt and the item per se.’

Why not just buy the item with the voucher?
Zacs...the instructions for putting the voucher in the card often say to put the receipt with it.
