Better next week, I believe. The poor animals and crops need it.
It is, Pasta......really chilly.... had to put on my vest and socks..... :-(
Me too pasta! I have a jumper on and am hugging a hot water bottle!
yeah it is back to walking in the rain again
Cold here too, but at least it is comfortable without the humidity.
I do feel really sorry for everyone, including a few friends, who are camped out down the road at Camp Bestival this weekend.
Proper weather :-)

I do hope it helps to revive all the gardens I pass in my walks. I worry about plants being lost.

No socks...yet, gness. Maybe a scarf though... x
I never understood why, particularly in the UK, people would choose to spend time in a tent in a muddy field. This is particularly puzzling when you bear in mind that hotels and guest houses are plentiful in most parts.
Cold here in Herne Bay, is overcast, has rained overnight and is quite windy.
I've got my thick dressing gown on!
This is a big festival though NJ at Lulworth Castle, attending is de rigeur almost for those around 40ish! Not for me at any age, I'm far too high-maintenance.
New Judge, you often come across as someone who has never had any fun in his life, at all. Prudie's camper friends will have bought their tickets for the festival well in advance and would not have expected the weather to change as dramatically as it has. Lighten up, fella, crack a smile.
to save money new judge. Not everyone can afford hotels
At a bbq this afternoon for someone's birthday. Inconsiderate person could've got born a week earlier :-(

I must say that I agree with NJ.

Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, outdoor "enthusiasts"....fine, but in a tent in the rain and in the UK then it is not for me. if you can't afford a B&B or a hotel........then don't go.

I have had only one experience in my younger pecuniary days....took the kids to a caravan site outside of Scarborough. In the early hours of the morning one of them wanted to go to the toilet and on opening the door on a windy, night, the urine blew back over us...........no thank you, that was enough for the sqads forever.

Hotels, B&B or...NOTHING.
ah, inexperienced campers urinating upwind

Jordy....what were you doing on a caravan roof for 2 weeks in the rain.
Couldn't you have climbed down and entered the caravan?..........;-)
