Think this is a very sensible decision - he needs time to complete the healing process.
Its a pity, he's great to watch, he'll be missed .
Not a pity, anne. It woukd have been had he turned up and broken down halfway through a match - like quite a few have done in recent times.
I cannot understand how both Andy and Prince Philip both had hip replacement and the latter is virtually running around and he's older!!

Yeah, ok, i'll accept that anne. It's just that last week there was a suggestion that he would be playing in the earlier rounds, at least. Probably on the basis that even a half fit Murray could beat some of those he may have met during the first couple of rounds. And that wouldn't have been acceptable.
