Very weak sun didn't come out until about 3pm and it's still a freezing east wind. I worked this morning but have finally been out this afternoon and dead-headed all the hydrangeas. Looks so much better but boy was it nippy.
I've been hanging out with my sheep, waiting for more lambs to appear (as if by magic). It's quite nice sitting in the shed doorway, soaking up the sun and listening to lambs and their mums make wee bleatly noises.
battle with old leaf piles here, all gone
battle with the black bags, another 16 to the top of the drive
battle with the mater, well in that she had an arrhythmic faint and the carer and I had a battle to get her onto her feet and off to her bedroom, she sleeping for 3,5 hours while I battled away, as above.
Hi, Tilly......I'll join you with 2sp.....did you take the school kids lambing?...We did and it was just fantastic....
I've had a day in the garden......lots going over what I've already done which is annoying....seems my fence broke after being damaged by the fencers doing next doors fence.....still I've borrowed a sprayer and I will spray it black.....I'm sure it'll be fine...
Scrubbed my wheelie bins for spring.....used to have bin cleaners call but they haven't been for years now......
And before we know it it'll be time to visit the ospreys......bliss...☺
I have two lovely grey curly sheepskin rugs from the Swedish side of the family's sheep farm. I had a link to the camera in the lambing shed two years ago, it was the next best thing to being there and being hands on, which I would love.
Today we had a walk along the river in the sun, blooming cold but we wrapped up well and it was so nice to see blue sky and sunshine.
Back for a couple of Dark and Stormy cocktails, a nice meal and a cuddle on the sofa from the pup :)
