Finally arrived in the Falklands, straight into night shifts. BIG shocker leaving 25° in Aberdeen landing here in 2° and snow all over the place. Good laugh though, some clowns stepped off the plane here in shorts and t shirts....cretins.

Morning mate, not yet. Spend the day since I got here sleeping!! long drag from the normally frozen north to the pretty frozen south!! Not much wildlife around just now though the more remote parts appear to be popular still, if you can find a spare helicopter to take you!!

seem a good plan, anywhere near water, i took some friends down to Richmond and Twickenham recently, beautiful, though does get crowded when the weather is like this

Yeah back home late October 4 weeks home then scheduled back here!!

You seem to be going from winter to winter both ways! Although October can be good. I think it will be this year, if it follows the pattern.

Starts warming up mid September on Em, but you can have snow here anytime. I don't mind the seasonal shifting, weather only bothers me when I'm at work otherwise I tend to ignore it
