LOL, very true douglas.
its extremely unlikely the s/wheel would come off, its splined on and you would have to pull it towards you which really doesnt happen when driving.
Anyone who works on cars knows even after removing the steering wheel nut it can be a nightmare to get the wheel off often requiring special pullers (or big hammer)

I know chas, I posted it so that any Micra owners that happen to see it would be aware that there is a recall.
im assuming the recall would just be a replacement nut and torqued up,
(10 min job) its amazing how many people ignore these recalls even though its FOC.
