Mark made his own public statement yesterday, as I recall. I seem to remember him paying his own tribute to his Mother outside their house yesterday in front of the TV cameras etc. - I would imagine thats why he did not say anything today - It was Carols turn

While I have every sympathy for Carol, for losing her Mother, she lost all chance of being taken seriously when she went into that ridiculous program.

Not sure why anyone would take part in something that is only millimetres above a children's program. If she wanted to look foolish, she can hardly have taken a quicker way to achieve it.

Having said that she gave a good enough on the TV yesterday, considerably better than that dreadful brother of hers.

perhaps, but her mother was a tough act to follow, and any career that she might have considered perhaps was scuppered on the altar of her mothers fame. Lot's of children of famous parents go awol, drugs, drink, as you can rarely live up to their expectations, or the public's, thinking she/he is a chip off the old block.

em10 with mark the thatch ,we are not talking ,awol ,drugs and drink. he was a gun runner who received a four year jail sentence in 1998 ,that suddenly became a four year suspended sentence ,when thatcher got involved, and did a deal behind our backs... also where do you think his 60,million pounds fortune came from??? as you rightly say a chip of the old block.
