That sounds very weird! I really don't understand adding additive/salt/sugar loaded soup to a homemade one! Bleurghhh!!!!

I knew Eccles I would get replies but the posting was really to Mrs Chappie as she was very interested. No other replies thanks only Mrs Chappie's (hope apostrophe is okay here hahhah)
I'll be sure to avoid the private messaging area of AB in future.........apologies!
That sounds horrible! I could understand putting homemade soup into the inferior condensed soup to try and make it taste better but who would put cheap condensed soup into the superior homemade soup unless they were trying to ruin it?
Henrietta....we're not allowed to answer. Only MrsChappie is.
Oops i've just seen the telling off ecclestone got, lol. Sorry connemmara!
Do you mean condensed milk?
You can get condensed soup. I think it's Baxters.
Henrietta - surely putting homemade soup into condensed soup is the same as putting condensed into homemade!?! (sorry Connemmara)
Why are you saying sorry? It's not in the spirit of a Q&A site to try and dictate who answers and who doesn't.
i know, and I agree, it's just that Conne obviously feels quite strongly about noone else answering! I'm putting ready made gravy on my homemade roast tomorrow. Can you post how it went for me tomorrow, Ummmm!?!
No what i meant was if you had a really tasty homemade soup in the pot and it was nearly finished and you never had time so wanted to bulk it up as you had a guest then that could be the time to add a canned soup but if you were already cooking a great and tasty homemade soup why on earth would you then want to add a canned soup because as you were making it already you'd have all the ingredients to make more of it so the canned soup wouldn't be needed unless your homemade soup tastes terrible and the canned makes it tastes better???

My nanna would call that sacrilige!
That's true umm but i don't want to upset anyone :)

Why isn't there private messaging here?
I thought FAO Qs were banned (or at least frowned upon).
No, they aren't. It's frowned upon to do FAO threads that excludes others.
Like Fao XYZ, check your emails...
I remember the thread in question and I doubt Mrs Chappie ever had any intention of trying it.

P.S Sorry for answering :-(

Or this /No other replies thanks only Mrs Chappie's/
I know the answer to this question, but I'm too scared to answer
Lol. I put a sad face at the end of mine, just to soften the backlash a bit.

I'm still crossing my fingers on an FAO AlwaysConfused, how was your gravy? thread tomorrow :)
