My birthday's in June maidup, I think
Don't think Sweettown is ready for the sight of Blue Toffee standing there in his birthday suit, just slippers on his feet, Maidup......also it's a wee bit chilly and damp.

Pensioners I know do pay for .dentist ,eye care And Rates .Just cause you get to be a certain dont mean you are took by the hand .The day we took off our coats to do a days work was the worst move of our lives.
we still pay income tax too, it's not a free ride by any means!

I know it's not funny, owd, but LOL :-)
you won't necessarily enjoy it, it often comes with increased ill health, children flown the nest, loneliness, losing one's faculties you have taken for granted. So it's not all good news i'm afraid
indeed as some have said pensioners do pay for their prescriptions, i believe it's based on income and pensions are taxed.
