For reliability you need Miele. I don't know if they do any in silver or gun metal though. Check out the John Lewis webside.

For reliability - definitely Miele. Mine came with a 10 year fully-inclusive warranty and is like a Rolls-Royce of washers. Mind you - not at all cheap!
