Not very popular by the looks of it.
Not massively apparently.
It would appear that 14 babies have been registered with the same name as me since 1996.
Mine is extremely rare (which I prefer to unpopular). Even at it's highest there were never more than 300 per year in the last 15 years.
Looking at the chart my real name is extremely rare, but I knew that!
[i]Broadly, in recent years, girls’ names have become more flowery and old-fashioned, while Biblical boys’ names are out of favour.[i]

Well that explains why my Biblical name has dropped in popularity so much then.
Is that total births in the UK, or per 100k......
not very, at least not now.
Mine was .25 in 1996? What the heck does that mean?
If you use the original site the mail got the info from it's given in percentage of births.

Not popular at all now but if someone calls it out in a big Irish family like mine at least a dozen of us answer.
I come in at 500 but out of what?
Mine (Rachel) peaked at about 2k in 1997, then been downhill ever since...'nuff said!
Surprisingly popular in 1996, but gone rapidly downhill ever since.
total births in that given year I assume DT?
Mine seems to be getting less popular, it's dropped every year since 1996. I quite like that actually!
mine not so popular any more, elder sons becoming less popular - not that it was ever above the hundreds, husband has a fairly unusual name that is rapidly shooting up in popularity and my younger sons name has only been registered 9 times in total and not since 2005. These are English records though and both kids have Gaelic names and husbands is Irish (sort of) I think!
Thanks Chuck, I'm not there at all now!!
Dont know anyone with the same spelling x
My name is so stupid I still have 3 zero's in front using Chuck's link.

Unusual names are not always fun, novel, amusing etc. Quite frankly they are a pain in the arse.
