Oh come on, nobody takes him seriously.
Tinker....sense of humour....Tongue in cheek.....do you really think that he was serious in suggesting that the strikers are shot in front of their families?

Come on!
From what I saw of it the whole thing has been blown out of proportion as usual, it was clearly just a joke!
Why is anyone surprised? That's Jeremy Clarkson.
Agree with all the above posters. How can anyone think he was being serious. And I share his views about the strikers. Greedy lot. I would happily shoot them all!!!!!
The man is obviously a kn0b coming out with that in light of how many soldiers and general public have died through shootings, joke or no joke
You think that's a JOKE ? So did the Nazis.!!
Oh for goodness sake...
He obviously wasn't being serious, I agree it inst really a funny thing to say but I agree with his principles.

If they aren't happy in their jobs, change jobs or stop whining about it.
i love clarkson
well said ratter
Clarkson's mum invented Paddington Dear..........nuff said.
I just wonder how people get through the day without being offended :-)

Never seen it just saw someone saying about it!!

Im not really familiar with him...dont watch his programmes!

And im not even going to debate on the whos and whys of the strike LOL x
^^ Paddington Bear......oops
Tinks...it's just the typical, blown of proportion, scenario...
McMouse...I don't think his Mum invented Paddington Bear. She just made the bears....
What has it got to do with Nazis and soldiers? He obviously didn't mean what he said. It was just Clarkson being Clarkson. I have often said I would like to shoot someone who has annoyed me intensely. Lot of fuss about nothing. I don't think he meant it as a joke at all, just his way of speaking. I can't see why the BBC felt it necessary to apologise just to appease people who have nothing to do but complain about everything.
