lol that sounds good...i think the licence fee is a complete rip off...i very, very rarely watch the bbc..why should i have to fund a corporation that i do not have a service from??? its about time the bbc was funded on a pay per view basis...
Don't watch it, then, I don't - I'm watching something about Versailles on BBC2. I don't watch any of the talent progs - we watch BBC4 quite often.
Dr Who is pants as well. Bring back Tom Baker!
I have grown weary of all these talent shows
all the other channels have adverts which seems to be on every ten minutes. gets on my nerves,
Have you got sky or virgin? Whether you have or not, a lot of people subscribe to plenty of rubbish channels they never watch because they're part of a package, so paying doesn't guarantee excellence
the Beeb advertise their own programmes.

I'd rather pay per view. eg if I wanted to watch BBC1 or 2 or 3 or whatever, then a 50p coin should suffice, not the amount they choose to levy on peeps who then have a choice of watching cable or sky but ON top of the licence fee. Stinks IMO

No sky, no virgin, enough to watch on the freeview channels.

they need to pay me - am watching the Versaille prog on BBC2 as ITV et al is junk too
i think its worth it for the natural history progs, i do hate the talent shows tho
I'm watching the Bellepheron on C4 (I'm sure I've seen it before tho)
After living with American channels for several years ( and all the adverts ) I said I would never complain about the licence fee again.
The Blue Peter cat naming debacle was over the name 'Cookie'.

If the BBC became a subscription service do you really think the licence fee would disappear? It is a tax levied by the Government to watch ANY broadcast TV and I would be very surprised if the Government would not want the money to revert to it's own coffers if the BBC was no longer allowed to collect it..
