I didn't see it but I heard it.
Well it would certainly give you eye strain and headaches!! Don't know about the long term effects. How could you read in the dark anyway. I can't see to read in total darkness!!
I think eating plenty of Carrots might help, or so I was told. Not blind yet !! :-))

I was told that playing on my own, or was it playing with myself, would affect my eyesight.
I used to read in the dark. Under the bedclothes with a torch. My mum had no idea.

Had to wear Boxing Gloves in bed Lottie when i was growing up. Had the same problem as sandyRoe !!! ;-)))

I know Sqad. But I don't bake my carrots in the dark?

There is some truth I believe that beta carotine is good for the eyes.

I thought the carrot thing was propaganda put out by the RAF in WW2 to keep the Germans in the dark about our Radar.

McM....I think that your theory is nearer the mark.

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that Vit A has any effect on the eyes.

Mind you sqad as a boy I developed a great appetite for carrots as an antidote to excessive erm....reading in the dark.
