my two friends, he is Christian and she is Muslim, she was a primary school teacher in Tehran and he, a dental technician, she was in danger of her life for marrying a Christian and for also saying she did want to wear a Burks to teach little ones although she would wear the scarf, she was taken in and questioned and was beaten by Ahmadinejad's henchmen...for that!
sorry that should of read Burkha
I read about it in the Telegraph a while back Bobbi. His family name was Sabourjian – a Jewish name meaning cloth weaver. The family changed their name to Ahmadinejad shortly after he was born because they decided to embrace Islam.
so why hasn't that been lit up in Times Square...
just a thought..lol

so old dinnerjacket's a 4 by 2 eh? that's a turn up, there's a Muzzy in the whitehouse, what next?
where do people get these stories? Yes, Ahmadinejad is as much a Jew as Obama is a Muslim

PS Bobbi, I wasn't saying your friends were wrong. The mullahs do want him in power, being afraid of getting someone more liberal. But he's not a Muslim hardliner himself.
I know jno....
PPS, to answer my own question, it seems the story about Jewish Ahmadinejad came from the Daily Telegraph, along with some amateur psychologising about him 'overcompensating' for his wicked background. . Rebuttal here:

You know what "thoughts" you believe in and want to hear. So why bother.
Ahmedinejad is a very dangerous man - far more dangerous than Saddam ever was. God forbid he ever get a nuclear weapon.
Keyplus – “You know what "thoughts" you believe in and want to hear. So why bother.”

To find out what other people think...?

It's pretty obvious really. People ask questions to get the opinions of others. This website would get incredibly boring if people asked questions only to get responses that said, “Why are you asking?”. If you feel the need to participate in the discussion, why not tell us your thoughts on Ahmedinejad?

My thoughts on him are: He displays the archetypal Napoleon complex. A small man with an enormous chip on his shoulder. He rigs elections to ensure he remains in power. He thinks the Holocaust is a Jewish myth (despite voluminous evidence to the contrary). He wants his country to be a nation with the capacity to launch nuclear weapons on his perceived enemies – which he appears to believe are everywhere. A paranoid, narrow minded individual who is a danger to every neighbouring country in his region, and if his wish for nuclear arms comes to fruition, a danger to every other nation on this planet.
