jack it wasn't a commercial , but a bloke dressed up in a white 'space suit' used to knock randomly on peoples doors...honestly!!!
So how did anyone find out about it...........?
then in flies a guy who's all dressed up like a Union Jack, says I've won five pounds if I have his kind of detergent pack?
I remember a team were delivering free samples of Omo in our street and somebody stole their van.

when I was married the first tme in the 60s, I remember the exitement that buzzed around the street...he was in the area...sad innit..lol
