LOL at the new 3 minute Nike Ad ... ( where ITV missed off the end ... the bit mentioning "Nike" ! )

The sports stars have nightmares, contrasting their super success with imaginary failure.

Wayne Rooney finds himself dossing in an old caravan.

And how do Nike symbolise his miserable failure?

Yes ... he has grown a beard.

So that's it ... the beard ... universal symbol of abysmal failure.

I say this in the confident belief that there are no beardy weirdies on AB.

I bet there are........
if you've grown one, I'd certainly say something has gone badly wrong with your life.
There are not many men who can get away with having a beard.
I don't feal my beard effects any failure on my part... In fact, I look on it as something of an achievement.
Brad Pitt certainly can't - have you seen his? Absolutely awful....
I'm going to grow a big bushy Uncle Albert job in a few months......

No hope for Mr LL then!

I love beards and stubble on blokes. Nice trimmed beards of course. Can't stand smooth skin on a fella.
erm he's got fatter and is living in a caravan too jogger
China... is that a cat or a monkfish in your avatar?

Come to think of it I have never seen Mr LL without a beard in the last 38 years!! He must be a complete and utter failure (and perhaps I wouldn't like the look of him if he shaved it off!!)

4get ...

I could cope with a fat bloke living in a caravan ...

... but not a beardy weirdy.

Bearded men carry with them the ever-present risk of ... socks and sandals !
It's a cat-shark fish... It's in special honour of fluffy.

And I'm far to lazy to change it.

JC didn't have a beard until about 400AD. Older pictures (mosaics and so on) show him without one.

i quite like a beard, depends on who its on though, lets face it wayne rooney is always going to look a bit rough
My Dad grew a beard once. It was because he'd been thrown through the windscreen of a car though (pre seat belt days)
