To all those AOG haters

Some on this site have from time to time wished ill of me and on some occasions wish me dead, my heinous crime? to simply post questions that they disagree with, or daring to criticise the acts of some of the immigrants to this country and also those who have committed unspeakable acts, some who's skin colour happens to be different to mine.
No matter what they have done, I have never wished anyone of them dead, I may at times called for the return of the death penalty for some of the most horrific crimes, no matter what their skin colour, but never dead for little reason.
I have been insulted and called various derogative names, such as racist, and a bigot, but I would rather be called all these and much more, than a person that can wish another human being dead.
Even if these accusations happened to be true, to chose between a racist and a person that wishes other human being dead, I would chose to be a racist,, I know which makes a better person of the two.

I don't hate you AOG but I know your posts are likely to attract some vitriol. I don't always agree with your viewpoint but this is what we have a free country for, as long as we're not being offensive. I hope you reported the person/people which wished you dead, that is anti the spirit of this site.

I don't hate you AoG but I do dislike the views you continually espouse - and I do think the personality you present to the world through the AoG identity is a petty, obsessive,withered thing. There appears very little nobility of spirit there, or milk of human kindness.
And, as other posters will ondoubtedly point out, you can be exceptionally rude and offensive to those posters that dare to challenge some of your more extreme views.Death threats however are not cool, and there are no excuse for those.

Ahh, Oldgit are you feeling abit low? Are you looking to be cheered up? Or sucked up too? You're fine, you'll get over it - after all it seems you've been here for sometime standing your ground, plus your avatar relects that you are a no-nonsense, strong character who really doesn't give a sh!t most of the time.
It is appalling and shockingly unbelieveable though when people wish others serious harm, unless its spoken in a joking context and not directly stated as such. But then I know you would vociferously challenge any direct assertion and you would probably be supported by others.
By the way, do you mind me calling you Oldgit? I noticed after I referred to you as such that others address you as AOG but when I write my thoughts at the point of your name become vocal and the capitals get stuck in my throat as I try to pronounce them - I say it as a word instead of letters so I find Oldgit easier. Or I could just start typing your whole name?

Thank you Kromo for reminding viewers of some of the hysterical and despicable nonsense this troll has inflicted on some of us - on me personally in the examples you quoted.
I think it is informative that this poster seems to imagine that a question about himself is worthy of our News section - and not for the first time. Perhaps someone with those sort of delusions of self-importance should just be humoured and given a cup of horlicks and a pat on the head (mallet optional).
I think 'hating' someone on AB (or anywhere) is foolish and self defeating. Plus, AB is fun but it isn't a significant part of a healthy person's life and trolls like aog certainly aren't worthy of more than a few seconds of our attention.

Speaking as someone who has sparred with AOG on many occasions, I always enjoy our exchanges in the spirit of debate - simple differences of opinion, and different views expressed across a number of contentious issues.
To read that someone has risked him physical harm is something I find repgnant and totally at odds with the spirit of debate and exchange of information that has been the life-blood of the AB since its inception.
I hope such posters are warned, and then expelled, if their attitudes continue - they have no place here.

people can get stuffed everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and beliefs.... if you dont like someones posts ignore them, otherwise accept that they like you are entitled to their beliefs...
personally i think we should send all foreigners home as this country cant support its own citezens let alone other countries.... this has nothing to do with your creed, colour etc etc just the fact that britain is over crowded and there isnt enough work or housing etc... hate me for my opinion if you like but you wont ever change it

AOG alot of these haters are from a certain small part of the so called UK,where they have small country syndrome,in fact if they took off there kilts and actually stood up for british values they would be akin to your views.
