No one says I MEAN it, but hey.
I read that, I'm sure if WE (People who aren't convicts) where to do that, we would LOSE several thousand pounds. That is the country we live in, and I think it will get worse, until the election, hopefully...
Perhaps cells should have shagpile carpets. !!

The guy was sentenced to four months in prison not a lifetime of crippling injury and dependence on carers.

The evidence is that the injury was worsened by negligence and incompetence - hence the award.

What the hell have the two got in common?

There is a massive difference between an injury sustained whilst doing your job and a person needing 24 hour care for the rest of his life due to negligence.

Is it really that tricky to understand?
