Immigration for me
its got to be immigration, if we had a tougher stance on immigration it would save the country money, crime would reduce, foreigners coming into the country wouldn't clog up the NHS,
"foreigners coming into the country wouldn't clog up the NHS"

you mean as employees right ? most of the "immigrants" i am aware of are hard working and will do practically anything to earn some money and have some dignity. the same cannot be said for many of our indigenous layabouts.
Avoiding party political broad casts.

How do you know when a politician is lying? They open thier mouths.
for me, the biggest issue today is that we should be made responsible for our actions, or lack thereof. All too often nowadays many people know their rights but seem to want to be absolved of any responsibility.
JTP - interesting how you neglect to say that for every economist that think a cut in public spending is bad, you will find one that says its good.
Finally, the Labour party have had to admit that they will also cut public sector jobs

And lets face it - Brown thinks that the leading business leaders of the country are so stupid that they don't understand the Conservative plans and have been duped.

How stupid do you actually have to be to think that all of these business people are going to be duped!
btw - did anyone actually watch the program: The day the immigrants left:

Whilst it might be amusing that people don't bother turning up for serving or cooking at an Indian restaurant, think about the implications of nurses, doctors etc not turning up!
I would like to vote for two as both affect me daily - jobs and the NHS - they pay my wages.
^ that sounds a bit flippant now I've posted it - I agree with what's been said before, jobs would be my No. 1, you can't have a decent society if half of the population can't find work to give them any sense of self-respect.
I watched that Day the Immigrants Left thingy, think we should all be greatful they're 'coming over here stealing our jobs' if the people on there are the alternative!
yes, i watched that programme vic, it demonstrated to me that the gap between leaving school and work does not produce a good work ethic. years on the dole after school makes for idleness and lack of ambition. I left school and stepped into a job the week after and did 45 years work. I cannot see those days returning.
Nothing annoys me more than foreign criminals being allowed to stay in this country.
The committing of a crime should mean automatic deportation. No excuses . They shouldn't have committed the crime in the first place.
Top issue = Genuine electoral reform which gets politicians to do what WE want - issue by issue -instead of them acting as an elected dictatorship under the present system - its the KEY to us influencing all matters - inc.Immigration, Europe,War,MPs expenses,NHS,Tax
