I never seen such a one sided audience and was not truly representative. It just goes to show there are many closet right wingers out there who are afraid of being branded racist. At times I thought the program was being nroadcast from Americas deep south or even Africa judging by the number of foreigners in the audience.
No one knows what questions are going to be asked and Simple Jack just happens to have a name of a cemeetry with a few names of the war dead to hand. ??????
My assessment:

The 3 major parties have neither gained nor lost any supporters.

The BNP has gained some supporters.
Not from that audience
Spooky....I agree, but those who were watching on TV.
Only watched about 20 minutes i thought he looked very nervous and think that he has lost not gained votes.
spooky....rioting outside, break ins by people who wanted to kick the sh1t out of you, a biased audience and the thoughts that all the panel members wanted to do was to distance themselves from your views and make you look a [email protected]'t you look nervous?
Well if he wants to be the PM he will have to learn how to lie and be calm at the same time.
spooky ;-)
rov,

What should the make up of the audience have been?

20% BNP suporters because the BNP made up 20% of the panellists?
Or 3% BNP supporters because that's their level of support in the country?

It looked like it was somewhere in the middle to me.

Jack Straws face whne Nick Griffin mentioned his father. Classic.

It wasn't a debate last night. Everytime Nick Griifin spoke he got interupted so couldn't continue with the flow of his answers.
I thought the whole affair was a stage-managed “Turkey Shoot” by the left wing BBC, with Nick Griffin as the victim.

We had an unruly mob, baying for blood at the BBC's gates, no sign of the so-called "Bully Boys" of BNP to counteract their protests, as normally is the case with the Left. They were un-lawfully protesting against a person being allow to take up his right of free speech., so who are the Nazis/fascists?

The panel was made up entirely of anti Nick Griffin persons; even what should have been an un-bias chairman was so obviously bias. The mumbling Jack Straw tried to gain points by belittling Nick Griffin regarding reference to those who fought against the Nazis, Nick Griffin came back by stating that his Father was in the RAF, but Jack Straws Father was imprisoned for refusing to fight against the Nazis.

In recent reports on the show, Nick Griffin was belittled for saying Homosexuals were "creepy". This is not what he said, he actually said the sight of two homosexuals kissing in public was "creepy" quite different, surely everyone is entitled to an opinion? Incidentally it was interesting that the Muslim Baroness Warsi was let of the hook regarding Muslim views on homosexuality.

Cont.
"It worked this time".

Switching over to BBC News channel to watch the usual post Question Time discussion, I was amazed to see that there was 3 anti Griffin persons plus an anti Griffin presenter, once again not a balanced discussion.

On Talk Sport Radio this morning it was much of the same, except the ordinary man/woman in the street was allowed to phone in with their views, what a difference, when the ordinary person is given a voice.

Incidentally the ex London Mayor Ken Livinstone was asked if he had ever met Mr Griffin, to which he replied “eh! I can’t remember, don’t think so”. Surely “Red Ken” would have remembered meeting the leader of the BNP.
His comment about homosexuality I agree with. I would find it 'creepy' to watch two men kiss in the street, as well as two women as well as a man and a woman.
