Since this is the third attack by the Taliban in a week, isn't it now time for Pakistan to stop threatening an offensive in South Waziristan and get on with it?

This tribal area on the frontier with Afghanistan has long been the stronghold of extremists, the training ground for terrorists and possibly the hiding place for the al-Qaeda’s core leadership.

The problem the Pakistani authoratives have, is the same our forces in Afghanistan, the Taliban dress as civilians, or whatever dress they want, so unless patriotic civilians finger them, these attacks will continue, and the Pakistani goverment won't be able to stop them.
