Where will it all end, 2.5% off VAT, 15% off at B&Q?

Perhaps 25% off certain Adult DVDs eh?

Maybe if they put career burglers in prison for longer we would not all have to have burgler alarms.

I am sure 80% of the burglaries are done by a small number of career burglars.

When they are caught give them LONG sentences, if they are caught a second time give them 10 years, if they do it a third time give them life.

I remember a few years ago some guy was caught doing a burglary, and he admitted to doing something like 400 over a period of years.

He only got about 2 years in prison which worked out a couple of days for each burglary.

If burglars KNEW they would get a long sentence they may think twice.

Burglary causes untold misery to people so why should these people get away with a slap on the wrist.
It always seems to be on the innocent public to stop crime rather than coming down hard on the criminal.

When I drive into my local supermarket there are signs everywhere saying "Leave it on show, expect it to go".

WHY SHOULD I EXPECT IT TO GO !!!

Surely the sign should say "Steal from a car, get 10 years in prison"

The sign should scare the criminal, not the ordinairy members of the public.
