Chester early 50's

Does anyone remember st.johns school, love lane in Chester I have been trying to find photos+info from 1951-56 also my father was manager of Mortons shoe shop 37 Foregate Street would also be interested in old photos etc .Many thanks in advance

The County Record Office will almost certainly have photographs of Foregate Street from the relevant time. They might also have records from, and photos of, St John's School:

Sometimes local newspapers have old photos, it may be worth giving them a try.
