Probably not:

Seing as she's been married for 26 years ( to a man ) and has two children

(same source - don't you love Wikipedia?)

The man who often uses her surname rather than his own - bet he has big balls.

Okay, maybe not a misandrist but an over the top feminist - believing that a father was not needed for an ideal household despite research to the contrary is just plain weird.
Can anyone tell me why she uses 'QC' after her name please?
QC = Queen's Counsel - means she has served as a barrister for 10 years
-- answer removed --
Just re-read the link above and she is only an 'honorary QC' So she hasn't served as a barrister at all!
No. The educated and informed understand there is a difference between a desire for equality between gender and a hatred of other. She has campaigned for issues of equality between men and women but she has also championed pensioners which does include men does it not.

The daily mail hate her or rather are scared of her and her like. In an attempt to belittle her they try and personalise their attacks on her rather than criticising her politics. A daily mail speciality.

Today in the Guardian not hard to see why Harman inspires vitriol from certain quarters: she's leftwing, feminist, outspoken, a working mother and seemingly resistant to nearly three decades of public abuse Goodness a politican of conviction, how terrible.
I don't know about misandrist, but she's a liar. On a live interview at the beginning of this week she categorically denied that people we're plotting to challenge Brown's leadership. She said he is the best man for the job and that he has her full support - and now we have this.

If that's a politician with conviction, then heaven help us.

Well if you are male, the recent 'Equality' bill she spoke of is anything but.

She's also a hypocrite - her kids have been educated at elite schools (St Olaves in Orpington is a 15 to 20 minute train ride from Peckham and then a good 20 minutes, probably half an hour walk from Orpington Station - the child must have passed, what, 20 schools between Peckham and Orpington), whereas she preaches against Grammars - how? Just how is she expected to be taken seriously when she preaches the party line UNTIL it affects her?

She is also an idiot - see the stab jackets on the streets of Peckham.

Still the fact that the (sneers) Guardian loves her is reason enough to know she is a buffoon - this is a paper which would probably support her view, a view that is rubbished by pretty much every organistion of any authority, that fathers are not that necessary.

Jake - I think John McCrirrick has been married (to a woman) for a long time as well: presumably therefore he's not a mysogynist.
naomi - I don't think you can base an article in the Times that quotes 'sources' and uses that great word 'allegedly' to call someone a liar.

ruby - she's leftwing, feminist, outspoken, a working mother and seemingly resistant to nearly three decades of public abuse don't you just love left wing politicians who educate their kids in private schools!

Apparently being outspoken is meant to be good?

A working mother - nice description - of course it is much easier to be a working mother when you have a salary of over 100,000 per year.
Vic, I haven't based my view of her on that. That was merely an illustration. I watched the interview and as she spoke, she knew damn well that people were plotting Gordon Brown's demise, and yet she categorically denied it. That's what I detest most - people like Harriet Harman take the electorate for fools - and whilst some of them are, many are not.
Ruby. Haven't you got trees to hug?
