My young daughter was taught a little verse about road safety at school which goes like this : Stop , look and listen Before you cross the street , Use your eyes , use your ears , Before you use your feet. It works very well because she practices it with the actions ( pointing to body parts ) every time we are out and about and with a little help from her dad and I , is very aware of road safety now. These little rhymes are very useful for young kids who get bored easily with seemingly endless instructions from their parents !
