How did Smithy and Gina get to his mum's house before the armed response unit? You would think they would have been much quicker. Do you remember his mum from Citizen Smith?

Also why was it broad daylight when Smithy got to the house, but by the time the armed response team (SO19 even though they kept calling them CO19) turned up a few minutes later it was dusk?
