Any opinions on this airline, please? Since booking (on recommendation of friends) we have read some bad reports.

Go on, I can take it. Tell me the worst!

We never had any problems, though they are short haul, so it really doesn't matter too much. They didn't argue about our excess baggage last time we went, so that always earns people points in my book!

Thanks for answers. SteveD, we had already looked at that site, and that was where all the negative postings were, we thought. Some made it sound as if it was a flight from hell.

Thanks, allyourbase. As you say, it is only a short trip, but nice to hear that you thought it was OK.

We fly out to Malta reasonably frequently and have always gone with Air Malta due to their increased baggage allowance for divers.

Never had any problems with them. Crew have always been friendly and helpful, food has always been ok, for airline food. Only "drawback" is lack of in-flight entertainment, but for the length of flight, this isn't a huge issue.

They were fine when I used them - slight delay on the outward flight (late Saturday evening) waiting for 'important cargo', which turned out to be the Sunday papers - but still arrived on time. Seating better than charter flights.

Thanks to you all. We feel much better about it now.
As a point of interest, there's a site called carsurvey.org and they post users reports on airlines. Some are tragic, some are hilarious, most are reassuring. They now have a separate page for the more minor/obscure outfits, which is where the oddest reports tend to appear.
