What do you think of the door at No. 10 being painted red?

Apparently No. 10 have two alternating doors, so the other one may eventually come back black.

Many years ago, one Prime Minister had it painted green, but as green in my fav' colour I wouldn't have minded that!

April Fool!

I'll reserve my judgement on this, if its still there romorrow, i'll comment.
The Mail advises that the designer April Fewell had a hand in it - I think that says it all don't you?

You hit the nail on the head Andy - nothing would surprise me though Lonnie!

It's all on here too - you should read the reviews!

Comments even!
Mwahaha, those Daily Mail readers really do look stupid now.
Which was a stupid comment seeing as whoever posted is clearly a reader him/herself. *is quiet and runs off*
The final paragraph of the article did give a slight clue about the authenticity of the piece.

"April Fewell, a design consultant, said: "It's a significant declaration of personal ownership by Tony Blair. "
Question Author

Yes, except this Daily Mail reader spacechimp -I realised it was an April Fool after reading the article - hence the posting of the question!

Sticks & stones........

If that were true, there would be no laws restricting freedom of speech.

After seeing the picture in the article, I have to say that the "red" door reminds me so much of the front door that was used on the house in that 1980s Saturday morning children's television series No.73, with the number "73" painted in big yellow numbers. Remember that anyone? (One for the Film&TV section here, methinks).

Oh yes, from number 10 to number 100 - this posting is the 100th one that I have done on the Answerbank since joining two years ago!
