davebro //Why does the report keep referring to this piece of scum as "Mr"?//

My thoughts exactly.

There really doesn't seem to be a day when we are not reading about a stabbing.  Something needs to be done, but goodness knows what.

davebro - // Do I have to add "after due process" to everything? //

No, you simply have to apply the enshrined legal right to a charge, trial, and conviction, before you start condemning an innocent man to your own summary version of justice.

//And him drowning himself wouldn't involve vigilantes would it. //

No, but let's not assume that he feels the need to drown himself, because, at the time of writing, we don't know he has actually done anything wrong.

@1215 have I missed the arrest/charges and trial?

It seems to me that on AB decisions on guilt are made based on religion and skin colour rather than trial.

I really don't know why the police are not freezing all recruitment and just hiring the great and good of ABland!

andy hughes, //The unpleasant attitudes behind some of the thread posts can be viewed more objectively, I'm sure you will agree.//

No I don't agree.  Given the ppolice are searching for him and telling the public not to approach him, I see nothing to be objective about.

I see the Muslim fan club is in full swing as is usual when one of them do their party piece!

Naomi - // No I don't agree.  Given the ppolice are searching for him and telling the public not to approach him, I see nothing to be objective about. //

Experience tells me that the usual suspect will have this man guilty and executed on the basis that he may be a Muslim alone, but that's not how proper debate works - and I have always thought of you as someone who brings dispassionaite argument to any discussion.

Being a 'person of interest' does not make the man guilty, it makes him a 'person of interest'.

TTT - // I see the Muslim fan club is in full swing as is usual when one of them do their party piece! //

There is no 'Muslim fan club', and your flippancy is abhorrent.

As I pointed out previously, you have no idea of this man's religion, and to date he has not been charged with a crime.

Try taking a breath and looking at facts, not your over-heated imagination.

davebro - // what's the betting he did it Andy? //

I am not in the habit of speculating over tragedy, it's not right.

andy hughes, //I have always thought of you as someone who brings dispassionaite argument to any discussion.//

I don't believe my input here has been anything less.

Interestingly when a white male charged with historic sexual offences was discussed a few weeks ago we were told

//

He has been charged.

How about we wait until the Court has assesed the evidence and come to a verdict eh?//

The individual in this thread has not even been charged but some have pronounced him guilty and handed out the death penalty!

AH: "As I pointed out previously, you have no idea of this man's religion, and to date he has not been charged with a crime." - Masum is a muslim name, ironically it means infallible, innocent. I'll stick my neck out here and say he's a muslim.

Ladybirder - he has not been questioned or charged - therefore is innocent until proven guilty.

Regardless of his colour or religion.

I never said he was.  Just providing info.

The tragic victim was not given the benefit of due process and good old British justice. Perhaps, as it was in Bradford, the killer was dealing out Sharia Law.

TTT - I was Christened 'Andrew' after a Saint

I am an atheist.

Your assumption is just that, an assumption.

well I'm not allowed to wager any more but I would bet any amount he's a muslim.
