an aid convoy supplying gaza was hit by an israeli airstrike, killing seven aid workers three of whom have been confirmed to be british.

World Central Kitchen was one of the main organisations left that was still supplying food to the population of gaza (about 60% of what gets in) and has now paused its operations.. they say that they liaised with the IDF and were fired upon anyway

almost 200 aid workers have been killed in gaza since october

was this really an accident?

continued from above....would be a good way of doing it. Create a famine. Hospitals destroyed so they have no medical capibilities. Israel have a lot to gain from these "accidents". Of course, Israel wouldn't do that on purpose, would they? Would they?

A reputable Israeli newspaper is reported as saying the convoy was deliberately targeted as it was thought a senior Hamas member was travelling in one of the vehicles.

was he?

The Israelis are describing this as a tragic accident.  If they were targeting someone in the convoy they won't say so now.

All this tragic loss of life could have been averted if the Hamas terrorists hadnt started all stuff on 7th October last year. The blame for this lies firmly at their door.

"all THIS stuff"

untitled: "tora

the IDF have admitted openly that they fired upon this convoy. they were not trying to hit something else and then missed." - Yes but unless they say that they knew this was not a legitimate target they they thought it was a target. It turns out it was not, QED, collateral damage. Hapenned many times in the gulf war, the US attacked their own vehicles but that was not the initial intention. Geddit? If I aim for A and hit B it's collateral damage, if I aim for A and hit A thinking it's B then ditto.

If A was a car with seven people in it, and you wanted one of those seven killed, and you knew that the other six in car A were innocent friendly aid workers that have helped Israelis and Gazans with food, and you hit a rocket at the car, killing all seven people ... would the six friendly people be "collateral damage" or "murdered"?

18:26, if that turns out to be the case then it becomes a matter of semantics. Personally I'd say that would not be collateral damage but others might argue otherwise.

Yes ... and then it gets even more complicated if the one you wanted to kill wasn't in the car after all, and all the dead were completely innocent ...

I suppose if they reassign cattle trucks and set up camps that'll be fine too, just to teach those Germans that they were paying attention all those years back.

@18.26.Indirect victims of the original terrorist attack on 7th October,Ellipsis.

> the original terrorist attack

It was a terrorist attack, but it was not the original terrorist attack ... that was probably the time when the serpent enticed Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit.

I love the way ellipsis and co will do anything rather than acknowledge that it was all quiet in that area on 6th of October. So now it's the serpent in the GOE perlease!

It has always been a major problem with a war against terrorists. The cowardly terrorist ( Hamas) will not wear a uniform to identify themselves as such and do not play by any rules of engagement ( Geneva Convention). They do not care a fig about the ordinary civilian and will wear mufti just like them so as to not be identifiable. They will carry out their lethal nefarious activities whilst mingling amongst  other non terrorists and use them as human shields ,not caring for one moment the outcome or worry about any resposibilyty their actions may bring about. Prime examples are positioning rocket launch sites in school play grounds. Storing arms, food, diesel etc in tunnels under hospitals etc. All have been proved and documented.Food convoys are attacked and overwhelmed by Hamas because they want the supplies for themselves. Hamas has stated that they do not want air drops of food and supplies because of the dangers that may cause. Absolute eyewash. Hamas can't control where thes drops land and get their hands on the succour first. I have no doubt any so-called food convoys contain more than just humanitarian aid and the occupants of such are not who they purport themselves to be. Again hiding under a cloak of Mufti. If you enter a war zone where terrorists are involved and don't play like gentlemen then don't expect gentlemanly conduct. Hamas are monstrous killers. No less.

19:14, you first.

If only the Hamas terrorists had just stayed in their beds or stayed in their tunnels under schools and hospitals on 7th October none of this would have happened. They didnt. They have these peoples blood on their hands.

LOL, you have heard of the Gaza Strip, haven't you? Known its reputation? Ever been there? Why not?

You pretends that everything was sweetness and light before 7 October. I said that Hamas are terrorists and the 7 October attack was a terrorist attack. So who's the realistic one?

well said retro

@19.25.And you agree that all the deaths since then are the sole responsibility of the Hamas terrorists?Could you have not said that at the start?
