Untitled I think your post is unnecessary in this thread.

I am so sad to hear about the King's illness.   I hope he gets well.    I like him very much

21.49  And how long have you been a Mod then, Lankeela ???

Lankeela is only expressing the thoughts of most.

^ of course she is.

Not often it happens, but I too agree with Lankeela.

Jourdain, has he said what type of cancer he has ?

I am concerned that Harry visiting means that things are quite serious. Good luck to the old boy ...

All the best to him.

Good luck to Charles. If Harry had any compassion, he would return to England & help out!!!

The type of cancer will not be made known.  Why should it be?  Neither will his treatment be made know.   Give him some privacy.

What kind of cancer does the King have?

The Palace has not revealed what kind of cancer the King has, or where he is receiving treatment.

It said he began a "schedule of regular treatments" on Monday.

In a statement, it said: "No further details are being shared at this stage, except to confirm that His Majesty does not have prostate cancer."

And if Harry's wife is sensible she will come with him and bring the children.   But I bet she won't.

I hope it's not serious but I have my doubts.  Everything crossed for him.  As jourdain said he's a good man.

Lottie, my post was in reply to jourdain.

Countrylover, I'd think it far better if Meghan looks after the kids and leaves Harry to look after his dad. I think having grandchildren around just makes it all the more complicated. When my grandfather was dying long ago, I was kept well out of the way - and a couple of older cousins who were left in the line of fire found it very frazzling (because grandfather was a rude old man).

Dunno why people are getting so worked up. No idea what sort of cancer he has or how advanced/serious it might be. It's said 50% of folks will get some sort of cancer in their lifetime. He will get the best treatment available and have a good chance of a cure. No big deal.

of course, he might go for some plant-based homeopathic treatment...

Jno - I was thinking more about Charles liking to see his grandchilren  and  the family perhaps all making their peace. Charles is fine at the moment.  The children are too young to understand and Megan needs to step down from things beng all about her.

And sorry Anne, x
