Looks  like the 44 year old and 15 year old may not be going home soon either . ( if they were involved ).

"What's gone wrong with society?" Standards have fallen, and will continue to fall. By "standards", I mean standards of behaviour, attitudes, doing a proper job, etc. Parents must bear some of the responsibility for the fallen standards, but they themselves have presumably been brought up in similar, low-level standards of behaviour, and so they pass these on to their children. No amount of legislation will cure the problem, it must start as soon as a child is born, and it must start in the home.

My personal view is that we are living in a society of very anti social,argumentative people who couldn't care less if what their doing is right or wrong. When and if they are told that their wrong,whatever that wrong is, they see RED and feel instant frustration. This argumentative anti social action can be seen played out on many social media sites, where folk just can't accept any other out come other than them being top dog if you like. The final out come can sometimes be what you read in the link above. ( I will have (My) way no matter what.

I know they didn't deserve being killed but should 15/16 year olds be out on city streets at midnight?

I was in the 60s?

We are now able to access news at the touch of a button.  We don't just hear about local crime like pre-internet days.

The world is a scary place.

//I was in the 60s?//

Is that a question or a statement?

We are in a different time now - what was the level of knife crime in the 60s?

I couldn't walk the dog around the local park yesterday because half of it was taped off by the police due to a body being found (stabbing).  Teenagers being killed by teenagers. A whole generation being brought up desensitsed by violence.

Just down the road from me.

The fact that an adult who drove the car to the incident, indicates that this was not a random killing.

No doubt more information will be revealed in due course.

Loads of stuff on here, only about 1.5 miles from me
