No - when a gay couple are surrounded by a gay spitting out homophobic abuse before being kicked to the ground, it's not a matter of perception. Police will assess whether victim characteristics were an aggravating element to the attack and prosecute accordingly.

Well this is true. But then you decided to ignore that bit of the comment.
Rubbish. It's not a one way street. The reason why there are more hate crimes reported against certain sections of the population is because there are more hate crimes inflicted on certain sections of the population.
If you're white and are beaten up by a gang of black skinheads who use racial slurs or your perceive the attack to be racially motivated, you can report it as such.
Same with religion, disability and age.

Talking of 'immigrants' isn't the whole picture & isn't enough, we must start talking of Muslim immigrants, because as the man in the OP cries, they have, & always have had an, agenda.

Hmmm - that's interesting.
Given the UK demographic then, white people are signicantly less likely to be part of a grooming gang than others (white represent 82% of the population, Asian 9% and Black 4%).
