Good Sunday morning birdies! well that was a downpour and a half last night ! absolutely teemed it doon..not seen anything like it for a while... lots of local flooding..going to cat rescue open day / fayre today so hoping it stays semi decent for that ..hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to !

Good Morning all of you on or about to come on here. Pouring down here and the forecast for the drive up-country is not good. Not leaving much before 11 and got wee jobs to do before leaving though most of my packing is done - more about packing the laptop up and cables for it and the phone up and then in feeding the car and a tyre-check too.

Well up here in tradionally damp and dreich Aberdeen it is turning out to be a nice day.Head north,young man,head north.

I know Aberdeen reasonably well, played the golf course there a couple of times, played rugby at the Uni - and snooker against them and my gf's - at the time - brother was doing his doctorate there and ended up as a lecturer. The Zoology, his subject, museum used to have one living creature in there,a bloody great python - and you could see the contents of the lab work working their way down its body to exit as a 'black BIC biro'...

I was down the Road at The Duke and Duchess's little establishment.
